My name is Zhuang-Fang NaNa Yi. I'm a self-taught weekend painter, and I have been painting for the past 10 years. Most of my paintings are inspired by my imagination, space, technology and wonderful people around the globe that I met. I started my art business in April 2022, and my paintings are collected worldwide. I have collectors from Australia, Europe and North America, who I deeply appreciated.
I recently fell in love with oil paintings, the richness, creamness and vibrancy of oil colors are an inspiration itself. I am eager to share my love of colors, texture, and uplifting inspirations with you. Launching my art career is a big deal since I grew up in an artistic family/village in SW of China. My uncles and brother are artists. I feel connected to my roots and my vibrant ethnic minority culture, Tai Lue/ Dai, in tropical China, Xishuangbanna.
I am an full time AI (machine learning) engineer and I have a Ph.D. degree in ecology. I spent significant parts of my career utilizing AI/machine learning for global humanitarian, conservation efforts and sustainable agriculture.
